Terms of Service

1. Welcome

These terms govern your use of Cvora ("the service", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Your account

You need an account to save and download CVs. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to sign up.

3. What you can do

You can use Cvora to build, edit, and download CVs for your own job-search and professional use. The PDF and Word files you download are yours — keep them, share them, send them to recruiters, print them, do whatever you need.

4. What you can't do

• Submit false or misleading information about other people
• Upload illegal content or content that violates anyone's rights
• Try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service
• Use the service to build CVs for resale or as a paid service to others
• Share your account or subscription with people outside your household

5. Payments

Pay-per-CV unlocks one CV for download. A subscription unlocks up to 30 downloads per month. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account page — your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period.

Refunds are available within seven days of purchase if you have not downloaded the CV. Email support@cvora.app and we'll process it.

6. Your content

You own your CV content. By uploading it, you grant us only the limited rights we need to store it, generate downloads, and provide AI suggestions. We don't use your CV content for marketing or to train AI models. You can delete it any time.

7. AI suggestions

AI-generated text is a starting point, not a guarantee. Always read it before you use it. You're responsible for the accuracy of everything in your final CV.

8. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but can't promise the service will always be available. We may change features, fix bugs, or take parts of the service down for maintenance. We'll give notice for big changes.

9. Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or try to harm other users. If we close your account, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to download your data first (where reasonable).

10. Liability

We provide the service "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including missed job opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you've paid us in the past 12 months.

11. Changes

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.
